Door County's signature ambience of "culture in the country" results from its mix
of beautiful scenery and a lively arts scene. Painters, potters, sculptors,
craftsmen, weavers, and performers reflect and enhance the natural wonders of
the Door County peninsula.
No matter what your cultural taste, you'll find that Door County sets a fine
table with a rich and varied menu.
Sprinkled through the towns and along the back roads of Door County, scores of
galleries, studios, and museums offer the opportunity to browse through original
works of stunning diversity. Part of the charm is the chance to chat with
artists at work and watch the creative process unfold.
